For my first spotlight on local business owners, I’d like to introduce you to Mary Youngblood, psychic, medium and transformational hypnotherapist. Mary’s purpose is to help you realize your highest self, and she’s good at it. I speak solely from experience when I tell you Mary’s gifts and talents are unique and special.
Mary’s abilities began to unfold in her late teens or early 20’s. In her late 20’s and early 30’s, she really began to become aware of the extent of her gifts and began to explore her spiritual path. In seeking knowledge and wisdom at this point in her life, she asked questions of God and Spirit. She began to receive answers and guidance to her questions and relied wholly on Spirit to open doors and discover her path. She learned that being present was an important part of her discovery.
I met Mary a couple of years ago when I attended an event that was a combination of sound healing and hypnotherapy offered by a friend, Barbara Spaulding (she’ll be featured in an upcoming blog). She has honed her skills over the past 6 years and she is trained in different forms of hypnotherapy from transformational to emergency response.
When I was first hypnotized by Mary, I was undergoing self-confidence issues and various family turmoil issues (to say the least!) During my first session with Mary, I felt the heavy emotions of my family’s conflicts surround me, the healing lightness of resolution reached after my family’s souls were summoned and saw the calm and healing light of Spirit. It was a magical and healing event that has literally transformed my life. After that magical session, we continued our work which has allowed me to heal on a deeper level, learn things about my past with past life regression, and settle a lot of old issues I’d been carrying around with me since childhood. I’ve even been shown a more clear picture of my newly discovered abilities as a psychic and medium. Mary has taken me subconsciously to a place where I’ve been able to sharpen my intuition. Mary even helped me let go of my relentless hate of the masks during COVID-19 by finding out my issue was from a past experience where someone covered my mouth in a way I couldn’t breathe. Once we released that feeling, it was much easier to cope with the requirement to wear a mask without feeling suffocated (even though I still hated the mask!)
Mary has been using her gifts to help others for 10 years. She began receiving messages from Spirit and Angels that being a psychic medium was her calling and soul’s journey. Her gifts have evolved over the years more than she ever thought was possible. Mary was certified with the National Guild of Hypnotists in 2015 and trained in the Metaphysical Hypnosis Technique. She has most recently become certified in Advanced Pain Control with Emergency Hypnosis, Advanced Regression and Forensic Hypnosis.
Over the past few years she has developed her own method called Transformational Hypnosis, which includes more than the subconscious; it includes the spiritual, quantum, higher or expanded self, and multidimensional side of hypnosis.

Mary is also a certified sound healer that works with specific instruments, sounds, vibration and frequencies used for healing on a cellular level. She works with tuning forks which are great for aura, chakra balancing, aches and pain, stimulating nerves and the nervous system. Neurologists often use tuning forks on M.S. patients to test for feeling in nerves in different parts of the body.
Mary also specializes in meditation of all levels and dream interpretation. She has the gifts of all the “Clairs” of clairvoyance allowing her to utilize her sixth sense psychic abilities. She is able to see, work and interpret all types of energy and work with animals, plants and more.
